By taking on a new adventure, I pushed myself farther than ever before. While cofounding NSEFU Wildlife Conservation Foundation, I realized we all can accomplish great things. Now I get to help others accomplish great things in their own lives through real estate.
We had only spoken about the first inklings of this idea a few months before, and all of a sudden, we were official. When I cofounded NSEFU Wildlife Conservation Foundation, I was in for a steep learning curve.
I have always had a big heart for people, animals and the planet. I spent my youth living all around the world with my parents, as my father was in the hotel industry. Many of those years were in Ethiopia. During that time, I developed a strong connection to other creatures and have been rescuing animals ever since.
My passion grew after experiencing many struggles, especially as a teenager facing financial hardship and the sudden illness of my mother. What I wanted more than anything was to save others from going through those heartaches. I just needed to find my avenue.
I first fell in love with radio – my older sister’s rock music collection kept me company no matter where I was in the world. Starting my career in the industry, I knew I wanted to leverage myself to make a bigger impact.
In the wake of the 2009 economic downturn, on air, I created a list of San Diegans in need – Coe’s List. That process introduced me to how I could start a foundation and make a bigger impact.
When I met my NSEFU cofounder in 2014, it was the perfect timing. I had grown restless and wanted to create change. My faith is very important to me, and I recognize that I am God’s vessel. I attribute everything I am and have done to Him. He guided me in many ways throughout my life, including to the cofounder of our organization and the adventure of a lifetime.
In March 2015, we founded NSEFU in Zambia as a 501c3 organization and were off to the races. With a few rangers, no gear, and a cheap vehicle from the UN, we began our anti-poaching mission. It quickly grew, and before we knew it, we had built one school and then another.
We had decided to approach the problem of poaching from all angles through enforcement, creating economic opportunities, and accessible education. I could not be prouder of what our little organization has accomplished in such a short time.
Not only is poaching down 70% in the area, but incomes are also up, and we have the support of the local community. Establishing our foundation has been the hardest thing I have ever done and also one of the most rewarding. Through it, I learned that with passion, determination and a mission, we can accomplish the unimaginable.
My purpose is to support and protect others while helping them create happy lives – it’s what I enjoy most in the world. That is why I also love real estate so much! My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is learning about my clients and their goals as we build lifelong friendships while reaching their dreams.
I first became a licensed REALTOR® in 2001 with Century 21 Award. Almost immediately, I befriended my current team member, Curt. Since then, we’ve been close friends. Upon my return in 2022, there was only one team I wanted to work with: Curt and Roni. When I am not helping my clients, I am out in the community, making impactful changes however I can.
Whenever I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my pets, attending live concerts, and doing everything I can to create positive change on a grand scale.
When you choose me to represent you, whether buying or selling, I will become truly invested in your vision. Houses are more than just a number of rooms – they represent our biggest investments and our homes. What matters most to me is that you succeed through this process and are happy with the end result. I will pull you out of a bad deal because I do not care about closing today, I care about you.
Part of my whole mission in life is to protect others, and that is what I offer my clients. I will get you through this process as best I can so that you have a positive experience and results. I have lived in San Diego for many decades, and I know the communities like the back of my hand. Working with a team of experts, one of us will always be here to take your call and support you. At the end of the day, I hope to help you reach this goal and continue assisting you with every new dream you discover.
Sincerely,
Coe Lewis
